Mardukh Bil Joze Wal Filfil Akhder (Smashed Grilled Eggplant with Bell Peppers and Walnuts)

Mashed charred eggplant, bell peppers, chopped walnuts, and garlic seasoned with lemon juice and olive oil.

Sabanikh Maaa Nomee Basrah (Spinach and Chickpeas with Dried Lemon)

Wilted spinach, scallions, and herbs stewed with chickpeas and flavored with crushed dried lemon and hot curry powder.

Shorbat Addas (Red Lentil Soup with Vermicelli)

A satisfying soup of red lentils, vermicelli, onions, and garlic, seasoned with cumin, coriander, turmeric, and black pepper.
